WASHINGTON COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight  Elevated fire conditions will be in place across the plains and palmer divide this afternoon due to warmer temperatures and lower humidity. However, wind gusts will stay below 25 mph in most places.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday  A slight chance rain showers will occur in the early afternoon hours Wednesday for parts of the valleys, mountains, and Palmer Divide. Above normal temperatures are expected Wednesday through Friday.  A shortwave arrives Friday afternoon which brings light snow showers to the high peaks. This shortwave will also bring the best chance of rain showers this week along the Kansas/Colorado border. Precipitation chances on the weekend remain low for all areas and afternoon temperatures will return to near normal.  Elevated fire weather conditions are possible during the afternoon hours on Thursday through Saturday mainly on the Palmer Divide and adjacent plains.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be needed.
