WASHINGTON COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight  Areas of light snow and slippery roads will linger in the mountains and over parts of the eastern plains this morning. Additional snowfall today will be light and less than 2 inches. It will be breezy in the mountains and foothills with gusts to 40 mph. A few gusts to 50 mph will be possible in the foothills this morning.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday  Another disturbance will track across the region Friday, bringing snow to the mountains. Snowfall amounts of 2 to 5 inches will be possible with locally heavier amounts towards Rabbit Ears Pass. Snow is also likely east of the mountains, including the Denver metro area. Snowfall amounts will be light with less than an inch expected. After this, dry conditions set in for the weekend and early next week.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be needed.
