WASHINGTON COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight  No hazardous weather expected.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday  An arctic airmass settles over eastern Colorado Friday and Saturday bringing light snow as well. Some slick travel will be possible, but largest impact will be cold temperatures. Temperatures are expected to fall into the teens and 20s Friday and then to around or below zero Friday night. Little warming is expected Saturday, with highs in the teens. It stays cold Sunday with another surge of arctic air and flurries possible. It is expected to warm up Monday and Tuesday when temperatures climb above freezing.  For the mountains, snowfall increases Friday and lingers into Saturday. Snowfall amounts of 4 to 10 inches are expected with the heavier amounts to be found along and south of Interstate 70. Roads are expected to be slick resulting in slow travel Friday night and Saturday.   .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be needed.
