WASHINGTON COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight  On and off snow showers are expected throughout the day across our forecast area. Snow will increase in intensity late this evening and will continue overnight tonight. Expect slick travel conditions for the evening commute especially by the end of the commute. Snow amounts will be 1-3" in Denver, 4-10' across the Palmer Divide and southern foothills. Additional snow in the mountains will be 3-7".  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday  Snow will end in the morning hours across our entire forecast area. The morning commute will be slow due to icy and slick roads especially in the Denver metro and southward. Friday night will see below normal temperatures with teens across the plains.  A return to dry weather can then be expected for the weekend, with a gradual moderation of temperatures.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be needed today or tonight.
