This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado. .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight No hazardous weather today. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday Winter-like conditions are expected this weekend with cold temperatures and possibly snow. The first chance for snow will be Friday night and into Saturday morning. Snowfall is expected to be light, less than 2 inches across the lower elevations, but temperatures will be cold enough for roads to possibly become slippery. The northern mountains could see up to 6 inches of snow. A second round of snow is expected for the mountains Sunday, with the snow possibly spreading onto the plains late in the day. If traveling to or from the mountains Sunday, expect travel conditions to become more difficult through the day. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT... Spotter activation will not be needed.
