This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado. .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight Dense fog on the plains from about US 34 northward will persist through mid morning. Visibilities will be as low as 100 yards. Southerly winds will increase, with gusts to 40 mph common this afternoon on the plains south of Interstate 76 and the mountains south of I-70. Isolated thunderstorms may produce wind gusts up to 60 mph. Tonight there will be rain and snow showers in the mountains, with snow levels lowering to between 8 and 9 thousand feet. Any snow accumulations will be less than 2 inches. There is a chance of rain showers on the plains tonight. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday Showers will diminish in the mountains on Thursday, with a chance of showers continuing on the plains north of Interstate 70. Temperatures will be cooler, with patchy frost possible in colder plains locations starting Friday morning, and more widespread frost or freezing temperatures starting Sunday morning. There will be another chance of rain and snow showers in the mountains Saturday, and then a chance of mountain snow and plains rain on Monday or Tuesday. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
