WASHINGTON COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 ...CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS, HOT TEMPERATURES SHOULD CONTINUE TODAY AND TOMORROW...  This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight  Critical fire weather conditions are expected this afternoon and evening across the northern mountains and high valleys, and a Red Flag Warning is in effect from noon until 8 PM today.  Hot temperatures will continue across the region today, with high temperatures in the upper 90s to low 100s across the lower elevations. A few gusty showers may develop this afternoon, mainly along the Palmer Divide.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday  Elevated to critical fire weather conditions will continue Thursday and Friday across the higher elevations. Near record temperatures are possible across the plains, especially on Thursday as high temperatures reach 100 degrees.  A gradual cooling trend is expected this weekend into next week, but dry conditions will likely prevail through most of the period.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be required today or tonight.
