WASHINGTON COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

  This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight  Wind gusts up to 50 mph can be expected above timberline and on the east slopes of the Front Range above 8000 feet, mainly tonight. There may also be scattered light snow showers late tonight over the mountains towards the Wyoming border.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday  The extended period will be fairly active, with mountain snow expected Friday night into Saturday. Light snow chances will remain through the weekend in the mountains, with potential for some precipitation pushing east onto the lower elevations Saturday and Sunday mornings. Chances will persist for snow across the forecast area Monday, with the most likely chance of snow on the plains being late Monday through Tuesday.   .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be needed today or tonight.
