This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado. .DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight Winds in the mountains and foothills will gradually diminish today. There will still be 35 to 50 mph gusts this morning in the foothills and around Boulder and Rocky Flats, and up to 60 mph above timberline. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday Fairly strong west winds can be expected to continue over the mountains and higher foothills for the next several days. High wind criteria speeds are not expected, but gusts to 50 mph are a possible through the period especially on the ridges. Snow showers will develop in the mountains by Tuesday night and continue into next weekend. Significant snowfall accumulations are not expected at this time.
