WASHINGTON COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado. .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight Temperatures will be near normal today with mostly sunny skies. Scattered rain and snow showers should develop across the eastern plains after midnight tonight, spreading into the Denver metro and Palmer Divide by Thursday morning. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday A storm system will bring snow to eastern Colorado and Palmer divide Thursday morning with activity decreasing by afternoon. However, there is still some uncertainty as to how far north the snow will be. At this time, the highest probabilities for accumulating snow and slick travel conditions are over the Palmer Divide, southern and eastern portions of metro Denver, and the adjacent plains eastward through Limon and Akron. But there's still a chance the snow moves as far north as Boulder and Greeley. The far eastern plains may see a rain/snow mix. Warmer and drier weather will return for Friday and Saturday. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT... Spotter activation will not be needed today or tonight.
