WASHINGTON COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight  Gusty north to northwest winds will prevail today. Wind gusts to 40 mph will be possible across the eastern plains as well over the mountains and foothills. The gusty winds and cooler temperatures will result in wind chill values in the teens and lower 20s for much of the day across the urban corridor and eastern plains.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday  Breezy conditions (gusts 35-45 mph) will continue on Thursday. Stronger winds with gusts of 50-70 mph will likely develop in/near the Front Range Foothills Thursday night into Friday morning.  Snow, slick travel conditions, and colder temperatures will likely return for the region Friday night through Saturday. Most snow accumulations will be light, although the northern mountains and foothills could see several inches.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be needed today or tonight.
