WASHINGTON COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight  Difficult travel conditions east and south of Denver metro will slowly improve through the afternoon. However, blowing snow will still cause slick spots and locally reduced visibility even after the snow ends. Much improved conditions can be expected by this evening as gusty winds across the area diminish.  Light snow showers in the mountains will also come to an end late this afternoon and evening.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday  The next storm system will bring snow to the mountains Friday night and Saturday, leading to hazardous road conditions. For the Front Range Mountains and Foothills, strong downslope winds to 65 mph develop late Friday night and continue into Saturday. The eastern plains may also see light snow from this system on Saturday.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Snowfall reports from spotters will be appreciated.
