WASHINGTON COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

  This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight  Light snow continues this morning for lower elevations and foothills. Snow showers will largely taper off in the next few hours. Very cold, with nighttime lows in the single digits for the plains and urban corridor, and below minus 10 to minus 20 in the high mountain valleys.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday  Blustery conditions will develop across the northern and eastern sections of the plains on Thursday, and additional light snow can be expected starting late Wednesday night. The most likely area for light snow accumulations will be across the mountains and Palmer Divide where generally minor travel impacts can be expected. However, some light snow is also possible in the I-25 Urban Corridor and plains. Gusty winds over the eastern plains may also produce some blowing snow.  Yet another weather system is expected to keep colder than normal temperatures and a chance of additional snow in the forecast for this weekend.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be needed today or tonight. However, any snowfall reports will be appreciated.
