WASHINGTON COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight  A few areas of dense fog/freezing fog are forecast again tonight into Saturday morning for parts of the plains and urban corridor.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday  Dense fog may impact travel across the I-25 corridor and plains Saturday morning. By Saturday afternoon and into Saturday night, a system will bring moderate accumulating snow to the mountains. This system will also bring accumulating snow to the plains. Most areas across the plains will see 1-3" of snow but a few bands of higher amounts up to 6" are possible especially across far northeast Colorado.  Another system will bring widespread light snow to our forecast area on Tuesday. On Tuesday night, low temperatures will reach the single digits and some areas may get close to zero degrees on the plains. The higher terrain will have below zero temperatures.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be needed today or tonight. However, any reports of accumulating snow will be appreciated.
