This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado. .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight Periods of snow and blowing snow are expected today in the mountains, with the most impacts in the mountains north of I-70. This will lead to hazardous travel conditions across the mountain passes including Cameron Pass, Berthoud Pass, and Rabbit Ears Pass before snow ends this evening. The I-70 Mountain Corridor through Summit County will see the main impacts from mid-late afternoon through early evening. Windy conditions will continue over the higher mountains through tonight with gusts up to 60 mph. Winds will also increase today across the Denver metro and plains, with gusts of 30-45 mph this afternoon. Isolated rain and snow showers will be possible on the plains late this afternoon and early evening, but little if any accumulation would occur. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday Stronger winds expected over the higher mountains and foothills Wednesday night with gusts upwards of 60 MPH. Warmer and drier conditions are expected Wednesday through the weekend. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
