WASHINGTON COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight  Periods of snow and blowing snow are expected today, especially across the mountains north of I-70. This will lead to difficult travel at times across the mountain passes before snow ends this evening.  Windy conditions will continue over the higher mountains through tonight with gusts up to 60 mph. Winds will also increase today across the Denver metro and plains, with gusts of 30-45 mph possible this afternoon.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday  Stronger winds expected over the higher mountains and foothills Wednesday night with gusts upwards of 60 MPH. Warmer and drier conditions are expected Wednesday through the weekend.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be needed, but any reports of snowfall or strong wind gusts will be appreciated.
