This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado. .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight A low pressure system will bring mountain snow later this morning and it will continue into this evening. 3-8" of snow is forecast in the mountains mainly along the higher western slopes. Expect hazardous travel conditions especially for the evening hours. Snow may develop over the southern foothills, Palmer Divide, and east- central plains this evening with the snow continuing on Wednesday. There is very high uncertainty with regard to snow amounts with this system as 2-7" is forecast for that area. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday Snow is expected to continue Wednesday into Wednesday night over much of the forecast area with total accumulations of 2 to 7 inches for the mountains, foothills and Palmer Ridge. The unsettled weather pattern will continue Thursday into Saturday with below normal temperatures and a chance of snow. There is still some uncertainty with the forecast specifics into later part of this week, so future forecasts could have more snow expected then the current thinking. Stay tuned. Winter driving conditions are expected into early Thursday and perhaps even longer into the early weekend. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
