This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado. .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight It will become windy today ahead of a storm system with southwest winds gusting 45 to 55 mph, across the Palmer Divide and the plains east and southeast of Denver. A Red Flag Warning is in effect for these areas. Rain and mountain snow will occur today with the heaviest snow accumulations above 10,000 feet. Higher mountain roads and mountain passes may become snow covered at times under the heavier snow showers. Snow decreases in the mountains this evening. Then after midnight, a cold front pushes south through the area bringing colder temperatures. A few snow showers will be possible just before sunrise over the mountains and also along the Front Range. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday Snow showers move into the mountains Tuesday and continue periodically through Wednesday afternoon. Light snow will be possible along the Front Range and over the plains Wednesday morning. Little to no snow accumulation is expected across the lower elevations with one to four inches possible in the mountains and foothills. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
