WASHINGTON COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 ...Strong to severe thunderstorms this afternoon with damaging winds possible...  This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight  It will be windy today across the area with gusts of 30 to 40 mph. A line of thunderstorms will race across the area this afternoon. As this line of thunderstorms moves through, wind gusts of 40 to 60 mph are expected. Isolated wind gusts of 70 to 80 mph will be possible with the stronger thunderstorms over the plains. Storms move east of the area by mid evening. However, breezy to windy conditions will be possible across the higher foothills and Front Range Mountains through the evening.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday  Dry conditions and above normal temperatures are expected both Wednesday and Thursday. This may lead to elevated fire weather conditions. By Friday, isolated to scattered chances for storms and showers return. The next system may arrive this weekend brining unsettled weather and cooler temperatures across the region.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
