WASHINGTON COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight  There's a slight chance (10-20%) of a thunderstorm or two near the Wyoming and Nebraska border late this afternoon into early evening. Most of the mountains and foothills will see elevated fire weather conditions given warm and dry conditions, and breezy west winds. Otherwise, no hazardous weather conditions are expected.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday  Hot and mostly dry conditions are forecast for Saturday, with near record highs possible across the Denver metro. Elevated fire weather conditions are again expected in the mountains and foothills with breezy west winds.  Increasing moisture on Sunday into next week will lead to daily chances for afternoon showers and thunderstorms, especially across the Front Range mountains and foothills. A limited threat of burn area flash flooding is forecast from Sunday through most of next week.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be needed today or tonight.
