WASHINGTON COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight  Scattered afternoon and evening thunderstorms are expected again. Gusty outflow winds to 50 mph and brief heavy rain are likely with the stronger thunderstorms. The flash flood threat will be limited to the flood prone areas where a quick half inch could produce flash flooding or debris flows. A couple severe thunderstorms will also be possible with hail up to one inch and 60 mph wind gusts.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday  Wednesday afternoon, scattered storms and showers will develop in the mountains and foothills. Storms could bring gusty winds, lightning, and light rainfall. Although, localized heavier rainfall is possible in any stronger storms. Recent burn scars may be susceptible to flash flooding as a result.  Scattered to numerous thunderstorms and showers are possible each afternoon starting Thursday through this weekend for the mountains and plains. Cooler temperatures are likely across the region.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be needed today or tonight.
