Increased moisture will bring scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms this afternoon and early evening. Small hail, gusty winds, and localized heavy rainfall are the main threats for the high country. Gusty outflow winds are the main threat over the lower elevations with gusts up to 50 mph possible. There is a limited threat for flash flooding over the burn areas this afternoon. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday Showers and thunderstorms will be likely in the mountains on Saturday, mainly in the afternoon hours. Scattered storms are expected on the plains as well. Localized heavy rain and gusty winds are possible with a few of the storms, but the threat of flooding or severe storms is low.
