WASHINGTON COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight  Wildfire smoke persists across the region today. This may pose health concerns to sensitive groups. Temperatures will also be heating up, with highs pushing into the lower to mid 90s across the plains and I-25 Corridor.  Scattered light showers and isolated weak thunderstorms can be expected in the mountains this afternoon and early evening.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday  Hot temperatures return to the forecast with mid to upper 90s over the plains and urban corridor Thursday. Increased chances for showers and some storms Friday and Saturday. Warming trend early next week back into the mid to upper 90s again, nearing 100 over the plains.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be needed today or tonight.
