This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado. .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight A Heat Advisory will be in place through 8 PM this evening for all of the plains and urban corridor. Temperatures are expected to reach the 99 to 104 degree range. Avoid outdoor activities during the heat of day, seek shade and air conditioning, and stay hydrated. Seek medical aid immediately if suffering signs of heat stroke. Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms can be expected this afternoon and evening. They will produce strong and gusty microburst winds to 50 mph or greater, light rainfall, and isolated dry lightning. The dry lightning means new wildfire starts will be possible. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday It will still be hot on Monday, although there will be a few degrees of cooling from today's scorching heat. Scattered showers and thunderstorms will develop in the afternoon and evening, producing more strong and gusty outflow winds, but mainly light rainfall. Significant heat relief will occur for Tuesday and Wednesday, with temperatures falling to a few degrees below normal by Wednesday. Shower and storm coverage and intensity will increase both days, with a couple of the stronger storms producing locally heavy rainfall. The chance of storms will linger through the latter half of this week, although the threat for any severe weather will be low most days. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
