WASHINGTON COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight  Scattered showers and a few thunderstorms will move across northeastern Colorado this morning, mainly north and east of Fort Morgan. The showers will diminish this afternoon.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday  On Saturday, there will be areas of elevated fire weather conditions in the foothills and mountain valleys. Minimum relative humidity will drop to the teens with wind gusts up to 25 mph.  A couple of isolated strong to severe storms could form in Washington, Phillips, and Sedgwick Counties on Saturday afternoon but the best chance of storms will be east of those locations. The day with the best chance of storms for the majority of the forecast area will be Sunday.  By the latter half of next week, hot temperatures will return.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be needed today or tonight.
