WASHINGTON COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

  This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight  There will be scattered, low coverage late day showers and thunderstorms in the mountains and foothills. A few showers or storms may stray onto the adjacent plains later in the afternoon with a few capable of producing gusty outflow winds up to 45 mph.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday  The heat sets in Sunday with highs across northeast Colorado well into the 90s. Monday will likely be the hottest day of this period, with highs soaring into the 95 to 100 degree range across the plains. A few thunderstorms with gusty winds and brief light to moderate rain will be possible each day, mostly over the higher terrain Monday and Tuesday. Scattered thunderstorms are possible Wednesday through Friday across north central and northeast Colorado.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be needed today or tonight.
