WASHINGTON COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight  Periods of light snow will continue in the mountains today with only light accumulations. Winds will gradually decrease with not as much blowing snow over the higher passes. Winds across the foothills and plains will decrease as well.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday  For Thursday and Friday snow showers are likely in the mountains along with a few thunderstorms. Significant snow accumulations are not expected. Most of the plains can expect scattered showers and a few thunderstorms on Thursday into Friday morning. Thursday will be the coolest day with highs about 20 degrees below seasonal normals for the plains.  From Saturday through next Tuesday, scattered late day showers and thunderstorms are forecast with a slow warming trend all four days.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be needed today or tonight.
