WASHINGTON COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight  A cold front tracks south across Colorado this afternoon bringing gusty north winds. Scattered to numerous showers will form behind the front late this afternoon and evening. Isolated thunderstorms are also expected, with the stronger storms producing small hail, possibly up to one inch in diameter. For the mountains, up to 4 inches of snow will be possible. The showers end late tonight as drier moves into Colorado after midnight.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday  Elevated fire weather conditions are possible for South Park and the southern foothills Thursday afternoon. Multiple rounds of weak systems should bring light snow to the mountains and scattered showers to the foothills and plains mainly Friday through Sunday. Coverage increases Friday then becomes isolated by this weekend. Heavy snow or severe thunderstorms are not expected.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be needed today or tonight.
