WASHINGTON COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

  This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight  A strong spring storm system will move across Colorado today bringing widespread snow to the mountains, foothills and Palmer Divide, rain to the plains, and a rain snow mix over the Urban Corridor. Travel into the higher foothills and mountains will difficult with 1 to 3 feet of snow expected, with 4 to 12 inches over South Park and Palmer Divide.  One or two strong storms may develop over Lincoln County this afternoon. Hail up to quarter size would be the main threat.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday  Lingering rain showers may remain over the plains Sunday while light mountain snow showers will diminish throughout the day with a few additional inches possible. There will be a chance for some more widespread rain showers Wednesday with a few inches of snowfall for the northern mountains.   .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be needed today or tonight.
