WASHINGTON COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight  Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms can be expected in the mountains today into early evening. Precipitation amounts will be mostly light, but an inch or two of snow is possible over the mountain tops. The plains will see isolated to scattered light rain showers late this afternoon through the evening.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday  Mainly dry and warmer weather can be expected Wednesday into early Thursday. The chance for showers and thunderstorms increases Thursday afternoon and evening as a weather disturbance moves over the region. A few stronger storms will be possible over the northeast plains Thursday afternoon and evening.  Shower and storm coverage will increase further this weekend, with a potentially stronger storm system moving into the area. Temperatures will also be turning cold enough to bring the potential for accumulating snow to the mountains Friday night and into Sunday morning.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be needed today or tonight.
