WASHINGTON COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight  Critical fire weather conditions are expected this afternoon for parts of the plains and Palmer Divide.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday  Warm temperatures, low humidity, and strong wind gusts will create critical fire weather conditions on the plains Monday, generally along and south of Interstate 76.  A windy weather system will move through late Monday into Tuesday. The mountains will have light to moderate snow, while the plains will have some rain showers. A period of heavier snow is possible in the mountains near the Wyoming border Monday afternoon and night. These areas could receive up to a foot of new snow. Strong winds are expected from the east slopes of the Front Range onto the plains during the day Tuesday, with gusts up to 60 mph.  Cooler weather with a chance of showers will persist the rest of the week into next weekend, with occasional snow in the mountains and some chances of rain showers on the plains.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be needed today or tonight.
