WASHINGTON COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

  This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight  Periods of light snow showers will occur in the mountains again today with accumulations of 1 to 3 inches, mainly above 10000 feet. Across the plains, it will be dry with warmer temperatures.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday  Occasional snow showers are expected over the mountains through Sunday. The snow will mostly be light, although there may be a period of heavier snow north of Berthoud Pass Thursday night. Scattered light rain showers will move over the plains north of I-76 at times, mainly Thursday evening and again Friday evening.  Another weather system will bring steadier snow to the mountains Sunday and Monday, with a mixture of rain and snow likely along the I-25 corridor Sunday night into Monday and a chance of rain on the plains. Overall, precipitation is expected to be light. There is a chance of a period of heavy snow in the Front Range mountains and foothills Sunday night into Monday morning.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be needed today or tonight.
