WASHINGTON COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado. .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight Periods of light snow showers will occur in the mountains today through tonight. Accumulations of 2 to 6 inches will be possible. Across the plains, there will be a chance of snow showers this afternoon and evening but no accumulations are expected. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday Another round of mostly light snow will move into the mountains Thursday night, and continue through Friday night and possibly Saturday. Slick travel conditions will be possible mainly over the higher mountain passes. A few rain showers could spill onto the northern plains during this period. Another storm system is expected to move into the region late Sunday into Monday. This doesn't look to be a strong storm at this time, but enough to bring more snow and possible slick travel conditions to the mountains, and a chance of rain and snow to the plains. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT... Spotter activation will not be needed today or tonight.
