WASHINGTON COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

  This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight  Scattered light snow showers are expected this evening in the mountains north of Interstate 70. Any snow accumulation will be less than 2 inches. Winds will gust up to 40 mph over the higher ridges.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday  There will be a few light snow showers in the high mountains Friday afternoon and evening with insignificant accumulations. Scattered snow shower coverage is expected by Saturday afternoon in the mountains.  The next storm will move in Saturday night and stick around into early next week. An unsettled weather pattern is expected with cooler temperatures and increased moisture. Fairly decent snowfall is expected over the mountains starting Saturday evening and continuing through Monday night. This may cause slick travel conditions for the I-70 corridor Sunday afternoon into Monday morning. Rain turning to light snowfall is likely for the plains Sunday afternoon into Monday, but accumulations do not look significant at this time.  Temperatures will be above seasonal normals Friday and Saturday, then cool to below normals Sunday through Wednesday. The coldest day looks to be Monday.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
