WASHINGTON COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 ...WINTER STORM WARNING FOR THE MOUNTAINS AND WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY FOR THE HIGH MOUNTAIN VALLEYS THROUGH EARLY MONDAY MORNING... ...RED FLAG WARNING FOR THE NORTHERN AND EASTERN PLAINS UNTIL 6 PM...  This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight  Snow and blowing snow will continue through tonight with slick roads, reduced visibility, and hazardous travel conditions. There will be an uptick in coverage and intensity through this evening, only to decrease again late tonight into Monday morning. Storm total accumulations will range from 5 to 10 inches in most valley locations, to between 9 and 18 inches above 9000 feet.  Elevated to critical fire weather conditions will prevail across the plains this afternoon. The most critical conditions are expected over the northern and eastern plains where Red Flag Warnings are in effect. Avoid any outdoor activity that may produce a spark and start a wildfire.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday  Monday through Wednesday, light mountain snow showers will be possible creating brief periods of poor travel conditions. Heavier mountain snow will return Thursday and Friday with the possibility for the plains to receive some light to moderate snowfall, however, uncertainties remain with regards to amounts and timing at this time.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be needed today or tonight. However, any reports of snow, whiteout conditions, or high winds will be appreciated.
