This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado. .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight The plains and urban corridor will see critical fire weather conditions return, under very windy and dry conditions. West winds will gust 40-50 mph for most areas through the afternoon or early evening hours. In the mountains, snow showers will increase throughout the day. Accumulations will be mostly light before snow picks up tonight, but combined with breezy conditions at pass level, will likely lead to slick travel at times along with blowing snow. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday Snow will continue in the north central Colorado mountains into Tuesday, decreasing in the afternoon and ending Tuesday night. Storm total snowfall will be 10 to 20 inches over the higher mountains, with 3 to 6 inches possible in the valleys and higher foothills. Hazardous winter driving conditions are expected. Wind gusts to 45 mph will cause blowing and drifting snow. There will be a chance of light snow out on the plains Tuesday afternoon and early Tuesday evening.
