WASHINGTON COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight  There will be on and off snow showers in the mountains and higher elevations today. These snow showers will be on lighter side as 1-3 inches off additional accumulation is expected mainly above 9,000 ft. Poor travel conditions may still exist across some of the higher mountains passes.  Scattered rain and snow showers will develop today across the I-25 corridor and plains. No snow accumulation is expected. There could be a few lightning strikes from these showers, however.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday  Increasing potential for impactful mountain snow Monday, with widespread and possibly heavy snow by Tuesday. Lower elevations may see impactful accumulations Tuesday into Wednesday, but details are more uncertain.  Additionally, winds will strengthen over the weekend and into Monday, and combined with dry conditions, will likely lead to periods of critical fire weather conditions that have a higher likelihood of being widespread across the lower elevations Sunday and Monday, and more localized on Saturday.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be needed today or tonight.
