WASHINGTON COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight  Gusty west and northwesterly winds will continue over the mountains and foothills with gusts up to 40 mph today. Scattered light snow showers will persist over the high mountains this morning and will increase in coverage in the afternoon. By the overnight hours tonight, moderate to briefly heavy snowfall will develop in the Park Range mountains which will result in hazardous travel conditions.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday  Periods of light to moderate snow will continue across the high country through Thursday night, with the heaviest snow falling in the Park Range. Slick travel is possible mainly for Rabbit Ears Pass during this period, especially Wednesday morning.   A cold front is expected to bring light rain and snow showers to the foothills and plains Wednesday night into Thursday. Light snow accumulations will be possible across the Foothills as well.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be needed today or tonight.
