This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado. .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight Scattered light snow showers will persist over and west of the Front Range mountains today. The showers will be heaviest in the mountains north of Berthoud Pass, where an inch or two of accumulation is possible. The showers will diminish this evening. Wind gusts up to 50 mph are also expected over the higher mountains and the higher east slopes of the Front Range. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday Thursday through Sunday, light mountain snowfall will occur each day with the heaviest occurring along Rabbit Ears Pass. It is possible light snow showers could arrive to the northeast corner early Friday morning. By Friday evening, chances of light snowfall accumulation increase which extend to the entire plains and Palmer Divide. Additionally, colder air arrives Friday but temperatures bounce back to near normal by Saturday afternoon. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT... Spotter activation will not be needed today or tonight.
