WASHINGTON COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight  Light snowfall arrives this afternoon for the mountains, foothills and valleys resulting in 1-2 inches. Isolated to scattered snow showers are possible along the I-25 corridor this afternoon resulting in minor accumulations under a half an inch.  Late this afternoon, additional snowfall arrives to the plains. Heavier amounts are possible for the southern foothills and northeast plains near the Wyoming Colorado border through tonight.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday  Snow showers will continue across the Front Range and plains through Saturday, tapering off Saturday night. Light to moderate snowfall accumulations are possible during this period, along with slick travel at times.  A much quieter weather pattern will develop by early next week, with only a few mountain snow showers forecast.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be needed today or tonight, but snowfall reports will be appreciated through this weekend.
