This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado. .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight Snow showers along with isolated thunderstorms will develop in the mountains today. Periods of snow will continue tonight, with heavy snow possible in the area around Rabbit Ears Pass. The plains will have scattered rain showers and isolated thunderstorms this afternoon into the early evening hours. Very windy conditions will develop tonight in the mountains and foothills with a few gusts up to 75 mph possible. Across the plains, wind gusts from 40 to 50 mph will be possible through midday. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday Light snow will occur in the Park Range Thursday morning leading to slick travel along mountain passes. Snow showers with little to no accumulation are possible across the Palmer Divide and foothills Thursday evening. Additional moisture arrives Friday and Saturday which increases chances for accumulating snowfall across both the plains and mountains. Cooler temperatures will occur by Saturday. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT... Spotter activation will not be needed today or tonight.
