...DENSE FOG AND PATCHY BLACK ICE THIS MORNING... This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado. .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight Areas of fog, some dense with visibility under one quarter mile in spots, can be expected across the plains and portions of the I-25 Corridor early this morning. In addition, patchy black ice is expected as wet roads and sidewalks have frozen over in some spots. Use extra caution if traveling or walking in the early morning hours. Drier conditions will prevail across the region, except over the northeast corner of the state where rain showers will persist through about mid day. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday Dry conditions are expected Monday and Tuesday with warming temperatures. The next storm will bring precipitation back to the forecast area Wednesday and Thursday, with the best chance in the mountains. Snow showers should linger in the mountains on Friday. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT... Spotter activation will not be needed today or tonight.
