WASHINGTON COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight  The light snow currently over the Palmer Divide will come to an end before sunrise. Light accumulations less than half an inch are expected with some slick spots possible on I-25. The higher mountains will see light snow continue this morning before coming to an end around midday. Up to an inch of additional snow accumulation is possible along the western slopes. There will be breezy conditions across the plains with gusts up to 25 mph and in the mountains with gusts up to 35 mph.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday  Unsettled weather will persist through much of the period.  Snow will increase coverage across the mountains Sunday afternoon, then spread across the plains Sunday night into Monday morning. Most of the snowfall should stay on the light side. Strong and gusty winds expected to develop across the plains Monday afternoon, with peak gusts from 45 to 55 mph possible east of Interstate 25. There may be a little snow in the mountains on Tuesday, otherwise dry. More snow is expected in the mountains by Wednesday, with another chance for some snow spreading into the plains on Thursday and Friday.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
