WASHINGTON COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight  Areas of light snow will spread across the northern border area near Wyoming late this afternoon and tonight. A dusting to 2 inches of snow can be expected.  Areas of light freezing drizzle are expected to develop later tonight, mainly from the Boulder area north and northeast through Larimer and Northern Weld Counties. While precipitation will be light, slick roads and hazardous travel conditions may develop especially in the foothills and northern border area where road temperatures are colder. Overpasses and bridges may also be vulnerable. From Denver to the south and east, dry conditions will prevail.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday  A storm system will move across the southern Rockies Wednesday through Thursday bringing a good chance of snow to portions of the plains. At this time, any snow is expected to be light and mainly across the plains southeast of a Denver to Akron line.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation is not expected through tonight.
