WASHINGTON COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado.  ...RED FLAG WARNING FOR EAST CENTRAL AND NORTHEAST PLAINS TODAY...  .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight  Warm and dry conditions along with gusty winds up to 40 mph will create critical fire weather conditions today, mainly east of a line from Sterling to Kiowa.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday  Dry and above normal temperatures are anticipated Tuesday through Thursday. Weak and isolated rain and snow showers are possible for higher elevations above 10,000 ft Thursday and Friday, with potential for breezy conditions in the mountains Thursday, possibly extending into the lower elevations as well. The next opportunity for precipitation arrives this weekend but details remain uncertain.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be needed today or tonight.
