WASHINGTON COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

  This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight  Elevated fire danger is expected again this afternoon, especially across the Palmer Divide and far southern Foothills. Gusty winds will continue across the higher elevations today with a few gusts up to 55 mph possible. Snow showers will gradually develop across the northern mountains tonight, with light accumulations possible after midnight.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday  A weather system is expected to bring precipitation to the mountains, foothills, and urban corridor through Wednesday night. Much cooler temperatures will also accompany this system. Depending on how the system evolves, there still could be several inches of snow in the mountains and foothills with travel impacts.   .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be needed today or tonight.
