WASHINGTON COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight  Warm and dry conditions will lead to elevated fire weather conditions this afternoon, especially across the Palmer Divide. Wind gusts up to 50 mph will be possible across the Front Range mountains and higher foothills today, and should continue through the overnight hours.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday  Temperatures will remain above normal for Tuesday with windy conditions at times, mainly over the higher terrain.  Elevated fire conditions will be in place over the Palmer Divide.  A storm system is expected to bring precipitation to the mountains, foothills, and urban corridor late Tuesday through Thursday. Much cooler temperatures will also accompany this system. Depending on how the system evolves, there could be several inches of snow in the mountains and foothills.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be needed today or tonight.
