WASHINGTON COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight  Snow will develop in the mountains tonight, with bands of heavier snow developing after midnight.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday  A storm system will impact northern Colorado this weekend with much colder temperatures and snow. Heavy snow is expected over the mountains through Sunday morning with up to 2 feet of new snow over the higher mountains. Accumulating snow is also expected across the urban corridor and plains, mainly Saturday afternoon and into Sunday morning. Snow accumulations of 2 to 6 inches is expected over much of the plains with some locally higher amounts in the foothills and adjacent plains. Drier and warmer weather returns for early next week.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be needed today or tonight.
