WASHINGTON COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

  This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight  Areas of fog continue over parts of the foothills, plains and along the Urban Corridor north of I-70 late this morning with local reductions in visibility. This will dissipate by early afternoon.  Otherwise, mostly dry conditions are expected across the plains this afternoon. Rain and snow showers will develop in the mountains this afternoon and evening, with a slight chance of rain showers along the northern border. Snow accumulations in the higher mountains will range from 2 to 5 inches.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday  A pattern change Friday into the weekend will bring much colder temperatures along with the potential for heavy snow over the mountains from late Friday night through Sunday morning. Accumulating snow will also be possible across the urban corridor and plains, mainly Saturday afternoon and into Sunday morning. A hard freeze is also expected across most of the plains this weekend with low temperatures falling into the teens. Drier and warmer weather returns for early next week.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be needed today or tonight.
