WASHINGTON COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight  Windy weather and elevated fire weather conditions can be expected in most areas this afternoon into the evening hours. Peak gusts of 40-45 mph can be expected over the eastern plains, as well as around Park County and the mountains in Summit County. Avoid any outdoor burning or any activity outdoors that may produce a spark.  Isolated showers and thunderstorms will also be possible, mostly in the mountains. They will produce localized stronger gusts upwards of 50 mph.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday  Monday afternoon, there will elevated fire weather conditions across the plains due to breezy winds gusting 35 to 50 mph coincident with minimum humidity 20 to 30 percent. A few showers and storms will develop across the high country and spread into the lower elevations later in the day. There is a low probability of some marginally severe hail and gusts over the eastern plains.  A weak storm system will bring some light snow to the mountains, along with cooler temperatures. Some parts of the plains may also see their first frost of the season.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be needed today and tonight.
